Producer Management Built For The Internet Era

We provide ambitious music makers with everything they need to make a living and a name for themselves in an industry that is constantly evolving

Music advice that’s backed by evidence.

What is Dark Label?

Dark Label is a small but mighty music firm based in Nashville and London, proudly serving music makers around the globe.

Our life’s work involves researching how producers, songwriters, and audio professionals can earn a sustainable living in an industry that is constantly evolving.

Then, we build things (tools + services) that make it easier for them to achieve that goal.

The first project is our renowned Producer Incubator, which combines a one-of-a-kind business support group with personalized management services.

We’ve figured out that the key to a long-term, healthy career in this industry comes down to you controlling your music business instead of it controlling you.

Producer Incubator

It’s never been easier to be a music maker.

But being a music maker with a long-term career that enables you to earn a stable income doing what you’re best at?

That’s harder to do now than ever.

For serious music makers, this is not a hobby. They are paid for their work, they are methodical about their career, and they are committed to the craft.

At the same time, many are finding it difficult to launch or grow their business in an industry that is rapidly evolving and becoming more saturated.

This is why we created our incubator.

It’s a safe space where music makers come together to hone their business skills, track progress, get direct support, and innovate new ways to thrive in this industry.

At first, we created this community for us and our friends to have. Now we’d love to invite you.

✺ A music career should offer you: ✺

  • Having the ability to generate income for yourself on demand, and then understand how to properly use that money to secure your future.

  • Earning enough demand in the market to be able to choose what you work on and who you work on it with.

  • Mastering the art of leverage so that you can buy back your time and create/work because you want to, not because you have to.

“When we help a producer who had no business, go on to create a business that provides paid work to other producers - we’ve done our job.”
