Hey there! We’re Dan and Aaron, and we work individually with every client here at Dark Label.

We are not business gurus, we’ve just done all of this before - a lot.

Our clients often joke that robots must have perfectly designed us for this job because amazing results happen when our superpowers are combined.

I (Dan) launched Dark Label back in 2018. My background is entirely focused on the entrepreneurial side of music-making (building income streams you control). For six years, I've been a personal business advisor to many multi-platinum, GRAMMY-winning producers (and others earlier on in their careers). In my 20s, I launched one of the first fully-remote music production companies (it was us and SoundBetter at the time). I scaled that business to 7-figures (total revenue) and hired/developed many producers along the way.

Aaron is our CEO, and he perfectly rounds things out here. He's a classically and jazz-trained producer and songwriter who started landing major label work when he was only 18 years old. His catalog is closing in on a billion streams and he’s worked closely with some of the most prolific artists and producers in the industry.. Aaron has a deep understanding of how to navigate the industry side, and he's also one of the few production mentors that other major label producers call on for blunt, practical feedback.
